Fly Tying Night at Colony Grill in Clarendon, 6:30pm Social fly-tying event hosted by TPFR every second Monday of the month from 6:30pm to 9pm at Colony Grill (2800 Clarendon Blvd, Arlington, VA 22201). Bring your vise, materials and a thirst for good drink, food and company. If you are new to tying or have never tied before, they will be glad to help you learn. Goose Creek Casting Club, Loudoun County, VA (Meet inside Windmill Park Pavillion at 9am to 11am.. 21400 Windmill Drive, Ashburn, VA 20147). This group was founded by long time local fly fishers Terry Cummings and Chuck Abbot. The Club meets every third Sunday of the month and focuses on the improvement of fly casting skills ranging from beginner to advanced, including spey casting techniques, hauling and casting in inclement weather.
