Most of our outings require a reservation or registration in advance. Some require a non-refundable cash deposit. All outings are reserved on a first come, first serve basis. You must register for each event to save your spot and to receive details and last-minute trip changes from the trip leader. We hope to see you on the water.
Favorite Fishing Spot?
If you have a favorite fishing spot that you would like to share with others please let us know. It can be a half day, a full day or an overnight outing. Please send a note through the Contact form on our website or email pres@ChesapeakeWomenAnglers.org to discuss details. You don’t have to be an expert. You just need to be willing to help take some folks to your favorite spot. We all love to fish new places with new people.
The USGS Leetown Science Center will be hosting a free Open House and Earth Day Event for families and friends on Sunday, April 26, from 1:00 – 5:00 PM. CWA will have a fly fishing demonstration area at this event. We would like to include casting, tying and entomology in our exhibit area and are looking for volunteers to assist with these activities. The event will feature hands-on exhibits, demonstrations, crafts, and experiments as well as tours of the facility. The USGS Leetown Science Center is a research facility designed to restore, maintain, enhance, and protect aquatic and terrestrial organisms and their supporting environments. If you are interested in helping, please contact Deb Fagan at email@example.com
